XP SP3 Due First Half 2008
Quote:
Service pack 2 was released on August 6th 2004 and it is almost three years since it served us well.
Luckily this wont be the last service pack and we already confirmed that Microsoft plans to introduce service pack 3.
Service pack 3 for Windows Home and Professional Edition is currently scheduled for the first part of 2008 and any more exact date is preliminary.
The good news is that it will come and it will happen within a year from today, if the Giant stick to its agenda. You can confirm this time frame here.

Meh, I think I use such a stripped down version now that I may aswell be using NT.
It`s gotta be 99.99999999999999999% security KBs, with the odd fix that the upd8s broke.

still its nice even if it is only the rolled up KB's
makes it more stable and secure from a fresh SP3 installation
