Guitar Hero type game for PC - Free!! (Frets On Fire)

I downloaded this game last night and it's so funny

For us poor people who can't afford an xbox360/ps2 & guitar hero etc, it's excellent.

http://sourceforge.net/projects/fretsonfire/

looking on the forum, there's some good songs in progress aswell Iron Maiden!! etc

http://www.fretsonfire.net/cgi-bin/ikonboard.cgi

I just installed it on windows and it crashed and didn't seem as responsive as in linux for some reason nvm will boot into linux to play it.

I changed the keys to ZXCVB

I notice there is an importer for guitar hero tracks and also there are some cool mods & new tracks on the forums.

You can use the controller if you have an adapter for USB

There are loads of vids on youtube

Looking on the forum, there are hundreds of songs to download aswell including the guitar hero + guitar hero 2 ones
