70% off Intel Q6600!!!
Quarter 3 looks to be an exciting time.
The previous rumours of an Intel price cut from $851 per 1000 units to $530 per 1000 scheduled for April 22 has been blown out of the water with Intel preparing for battle with AMD's quad offering - Intel now will ship the Q6600 for $266 per 1000 units!

Indeed, with prices like these there is litterally no reason at all in the world not to go quad instead of dual.

That blows chunks for those of us that grabbed a second, cheap cpu for a second rig or for backup...
...great for those that haven't gotten dual-core, much less quad-core.
