High price on 9550?

I was in a store the other day, and noticed an ATI Radeon 9550 for sale. I expected the price to be around $80, but it was $129 Canada dollars (~110 USD). This seems a bit high for a three year old low-midrange card. No, it did not have TV-out, or any other special things. It was just overpriced. I'm just curious, what is the most overpriced piece of graphics hardware you have ever seen?

which store was that in? I also live in Canada and have seen some pretty outrageous prices, especially in small computer stores that will overcharge for the parts they put in your computer

friend got a geforce 2 mx400 for like 129 couple months ago i thought that was a total rip off but he needed a card fast.

It's the same with PCWorld in the UK, but I guess we have to just snub them and order online

You serious? I would have given that kinda card for free! Hell you can get a 6800GT for like 40 bucks on Ebay right now. I was thinking of building a SLI machine for a friend by buying 2 6800ultras for like 50 a piece on Ebay. That would be boss hehe.

It was a large chain store, known as Future Shop. I have generally found better prices at smaller stores for components, as larger chains tend to cater to a larger audience (read: computer illiterate), and thus they can charge more.

I am surprised even more about the $129 MX400, because I gave away a more powerful Radeon 9000 back in December.
