Whats better 7900 GT or GTO?
I've been looking for a decent graphics card, for a new rig, that's under £200 and have been recommended the GeForce 7900. But when looking at the GT and GTO their specs weren't much different apart from the GPU speed and Memory speed. Can anyone suggest which one to go for?
GT: http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Produ...oductID=392228
GTO: http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Produ...oductID=465758
Any thoughts? Thanks.

Deffinetly the GTO, get that quick, its cheaper than the gt!!
the GTO Is basically a GTX, with slower memory/core clocks, thats it...
its between the GT and GTX

The reason I ask is when I build a comp I try to think what I am gonna do with it before I get any parts.
An example is if you are a gamer what kind? Crazy gamer (8800GTS)with 30" LCD or a reg gamer(7900GS or GT) with maybe a 19" or 20" LCD.
Or maybe a casual gamer (7600GT is fine)
The thing is DX10 is coming out so spending much $$ on a DX9 card is silly. I just sold my 7900GS to All4Spl and he really loves it (I did too)
I would get the best deal.
