PC World/Comets case upgrade.

User has a pc from either PC World/Comets, I`m sure it was Comets.

Anywho, to add cards to the inside... well there`s no bracket/rail for u to screw u`r pci cards, or clips or anything really.

So he wants to buy a new case when the new gfx card comes along.

Question is: The case has the stores Windo$e XP sticker on the panel that doesn`t open.

.. best option here..

a) .. just make a note of the details all over the sticker thing ? chuck the case.

b) .. carefully tear the sticker off and stick it inside the manuals that came with the pc, which includes the Windo$e welcome to cardboard thingy and small booklet that states the code is stuck to the case ?

c) .. carefully tear the sticker off and stick it on the new case ala a clear sticky tape ?

d) .. don`t worry about it coz WinXP is so solid he`ll never need the codes again, ever ?

Doesn`t want to hold onto the old case ~really~, as it`d just be clutter.

Of course he wouldn`t be able to reinstall from any CD supplied, so I`m guessing it`s an OEM sticker, and that the only option if this happens would be to use the store-supplied `recovery` tool/cd thingies. (ya right)

The shop supplies the piece of cardboard with a welcome to windows thing, store made cds, and no original win cd.

Like my Acer Laptop I guess.

U meaning just write it and eff the old case ?

I usually rip it off and get whatever's left off with my handy screwdriver

Sometimes a dab of water helps

Cut it out!

Leave a nice hole in the side and well yeah.

I hate when I go down the dump to "dump" stuff you see the "dump workers" having off with all the old parts and stuff!

So cut a huge hole in the side to get the sticker off.

Then frame the side and hang it on the wall!

Or just copy it down of course!
