So for a school trip I am going to Europe for 8 days in March. It is a history class trip so I will be looking at all of the war memorials in France and in Belgium. It's going to be an amazing trip, I've never been to another continent b4 so I'm pretty excited. I was just wondering what the weather is like at this time of year in Europe?

Thanks Guys

cold........ Watch out for the brits, they will moan about weather all the time. France *might* be a little warmer.

Pretty much take your winter cloths.

Well, if it's a school history trip to France and Belgium then I'll assume you'll be going to Menin Gate, Ypres, Belgium - this time of year it will be 33 deg f or 0 deg C. Ahhh, but you are Canadian... Saint Julien Memorial, same place (Ypres) where you boys took the gas attacks from ze Germans.

As for France, I think all the big ones are NE France, Douaumont ossuary etc... Basically NE France will be a bit warmer but still cold.

So wrap up warm - mind you it's probably colder in Canada!

Enjoy it mate and make sure you pay your respects to the forgotten heroes

i did the war graves trip in november, take warm clothes!

i expect being canadian you will go to hill 62, and also visit the memorial where you can see the danger tree etc.

it's very interesting, but very sombre, just always remember where you are :)

Yes I am definitely going to the majority of those sites. And because I go to a Catholic School, we will be going to big cathedrals which I think have amazing architecture.

I have never been to any other country other than Canada and the U.S so I am pretty excited. Whether I ever go back to France, depends how my trip goes lol :)

Thanks for the feedback about the weather, I'm pretty much used to the cold so I'll just bring my normal clothes lol

Out of a machine they cost something like 50p. Don`t know what they cost in a shop. (big tip, if u need to buy a bunch of drink or whatever - goto a supermarket)

50p = $1.16 Cd which I`m not sure is good or bad.

If u buy 1 @ a resturant, u will get just the 1, and I`m not 100% sure but is likely to be anything from 75p to £1.25 (so I hear). That`s 1, no refills.

Was alarming to me that it was like $0.98 US. However in the US, and I expect Canada too, u buy 1 in a resturant and they`ll keep filling it til u leave. Not necessarily any fancy resturant, pretty much anywhere u go.
