i live in holland. i thot that i had to firewire ports but wath is then IEE1394?? i have founded 2 that looks good but im not sure witch one is beter hier is link one http://www.alternate.nl/html/product...wTechData=true hier's second link http://www.alternate.nl/html/product...wTechData=true i'm lokin to these ext hddr's

ps is you look at this link http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/d...431830&lang=en and then scrole douwn you see pic of back of my com look at number 3 it says it is firewire

Go for the Western Digital if i were you.

If your only using this harddrive for your PC Firewire is fine, but the whole point is its mobile. Alot of computers dont have them.

I got an I/O Magic 250GB USB 2.0 HD a few months ago and so far it's worked great. USB/1394 shouldn't make much difference performance wise, but as Ham said I'd go for USB for compatibility. If given a choice I'd take one of the better HD brands like Seagate, WD, Maxtor, etc (my drive is actually Seagate, I/O Magic just makes the enclosure). I've also seen some Fantoms around for fairly cheap

hey guys you have said to me witch one is beter but caan you look at this link http://www.alternate.nl/html/product...&direction=asc and tel me witcfh one is good it have to be not to expensive and at lease 160GB
