Never lagged mine up..ever.

tho it takes up a fair bit of RAM

I've never had any problems with objectdock slowing my system. I've got it on automatic startup and it works flawlessly. I can also use png's with it for the icons.

lol i was even using the startbar to start things even though i had an objext dock for it - damn habits
