half life on a apple ipod nano

Its doom with a half life map tbh.

Edit: bah it says it anyway.

The ideas good, the fact that there aren't enough controlls to play isn't.

Hahaha, thats pretty cool. An actual use for ipods bar coasters and keyboard rests.

(Im not a fan of ipods...atall....)

Agreed. If only people could see past the white fascia's and 'funky' adverts.

ipods: Why do people bash them so much? I've owned an ipod for a long time and never had a fault with it. itunes is incredibly fast at converting the files (faster than winamp, foobar2000, wmp and all my other converters), the ipods look stylish, the nano's are impossibly tiny and all other manufactorers copied them but managed to screw up the incredibly easy interface.

Lets not turn this into another bashing of the worlds best selling media player

i used an ipod nano and its bloody great and made me want one even more

i dont know why everybody is bashing ipods they arent that bad.

cheers.

The ones that don’t break are ones that people treat carefully. I mean extra carefully. iPods can’t stand up to every day ware and tear. I can say that with confidence as friends of mine have them. One of them has had about 7, from the first ones. All its predecessors broke. Another Two had ipod minis, both broke from sitting in there pockets. Another had one of the 1st ones, broke, replaced with a shuffle (which aren’t too bad), and another had the original and..shock horror, it broke. Another person I come into frequent contact with (not saying friend, the kids an arse) has an iRiver. Which is 2years old and still in perfect working order.

On the other hand it may be pick of the litter. like the stepping on CPUs... If that makes any sence.

1. The batteries are notorios for being shite (recently featured on watchdog).

2. Who gives a shit about an easy interface. Thats what the inline remote on headphones are for.

3. Sound quality is poor compared to other players that are CHEAPER.

4. Who needs 'stylish' when its designed to fit in your pocket?

5. Expensive. Other players that have more memory and sound better are cheaper.

6. Cant just copy MP3's to the device and listen without itunes (or other soft)

Anyways....halflife :)

Rofl nice rant there Jim :) hehe

I loved my Ipod, it was great. Sadly it didn't get enough use and I hocked in on eBay. The only thing I didn't like about it was the fact that it was terribly easy to scratch the case. I put it in my pocket for a day while I was at work (nothing else in the pocket), took it out and the screen and case had so many nasty hairline scratches... And that was just from the fabric!! If I got another one I'd make sure to protect it with one of those sleevy dealies u can get for em.
