Thanks :)

@PeterStoba no i got it from Kustom pcs everything you see is stock apart from the paint job and the front bolts,it was black mesh with silver front.

Ok did a test fit of the monsta and it just fits in the rivets on the top panel of the rad hit the psu but i can fix this by replacing them with countersunk ones, the psu you see in there is not the one im going to put in but it shows me what needs doing.

Was going to mount the pump near the rad but it looks like i`ll have to move it.

13/04/09

A little update on some work done.

Got some Lian li vented pci blanking plate`s secondhand powdercoated satin black and i also bought black Lian li M3 case screws.

Picture001-26.jpg

My Lian li Hard drive caddy front powdercoated white and the body painted satin black.

Picture002-23.jpg

Also painted the lower front fan mount.

Picture004-11.jpg

Black set of wheels fitted look better than the stock silver.

Picture001-27.jpg

Top 140mm Aerocool fans with the blades painted white, these fans fit well in the top of the case and i have them both blowing in as they will help move the hot air inside.

Picture003-18.jpg

What the front of the case looks like finished.

Picture002-24.jpg

And the last one of some cable tidying ive done, will take some more tomorrow if i can.

Picture005-9.jpg

Had a problem with my cable and cpu backplate cuts as they where done for the x48 rampage but i have moved to the rampage x58 i had to redo them a bit bigger so i will fit some blowhole trim to tidy them up.

loving the look of this. Reminds me off llwyds build, one of the first to do a white case i believe?

The Lian li is not my first white and black case i did have a MM a few years back.

Update 21/04/09

Done a bit more to the build.

Corsair fan cooler was very boring stock so i took out the 60mm fans and painted the blades white to go with the rest of my fans.

Picture005-1.jpg

I got some 60mm chrome wire grills and painted them white and these will be going on the memory cooler when they are dry.

Also painted the rear case catches black as silver looked odd,the silver lian li case screws got a nice coat of paint to.

Picture001-2.jpg

Got a new DVD writer and took the panels off and sprayed them satin black to match the inside.

Primer

Picture003-1.jpg

Finished

Picture006-1.jpg

Heatkiller backplate painted white.

Picture014-2.jpg

Now how to take apart a yate loon 140mm.

Picture007.jpg

On the back of the fan there is a sticker peel this off,you will find a rubber gromet just pop it out with your fingers.

Picture008-1.jpg

Next is a small plastic circlip, use a small bladed screwdriver to remove and be very carefull as they can fly off.

Picture009-1.jpg

Plastic clip removed, there is a small rubber washer and a metal washer leave them on the fan.

Picture010.jpg

Then its just a case of pulling the fanblade away from the main body.

Picture011-1.jpg

6 140mm rad fans with grey primer.

Picture012-1.jpg

Now the 6 fans painted white, the one at the bottom is for the front lower its a 120mm x 20 yate loon as ive had a idea about mounting and cooling the waterpump in one go.

Picture013-4.jpg

Will cutting the mesh up and sorting out my cables next. :)

Got working down below in the belly of the beast today.

Had a idea for the pump mount, ive had this bracket for a while now and have now put it to good use by drilling and taping M4 screw holes into the front lower support,i can still use a fan(mounted before the grill) as i got hold of a 20mm thick yate loon and will give the pump some cool air.

Picture011-4.jpg

Picture012-5.jpg

Next is the Bitspower fittings for the rad and pump.

Picture005-3.jpg

Picture004-1.jpg

Corsair memory cooler with the grills fitted.

Picture010-1.jpg

This is how the inside is looking for now, fear the stock cooler with its dust:D

Picture006-2.jpg

Videocard cables.

Picture008-4.jpg

Main power cable.

Picture007-1.jpg

Front bay inside.

Picture009-2.jpg

Mesh now fitted and held in place with hot glue.

Picture001-4.jpg

Picture002-1.jpg

Picture003-2.jpg

More soon.

Still not much going on at the moment as funds are tight:crying: but i will be doing some more spraypainting as ive got a new fan bus and im thinking of giving the monsta a nice few coats of white paint:drool: and im not going for the 140mm fans anymore as they dont have the cfm i will be fitting 6 Scythe Ultra Kaze 120 x 38mm Cooling Fan, 2000RPM in their place.

So with luck i`ll have some piccys up later today for you all .
