Lol I remember you warning me away from OCZ ram when I was choosing parts.
Sound advice as always!

We've been expecting them to do this for ages matey, the Blade ram was terrible and everyone knew it when it came to RMA time.
TBH it was that long ago we were expecting them to wrap up the whole company. They were on the verge of bankrupcy and a load of the top guys left because of it.

OCZ has had such a roller coaster of an existence. I remember their early days and the shady practices they were in. Someone on FM actually helped to uncover it. Then they seemed to bounce back, make some decent products, and actually have good support for awhile. Then came the rebates that were never fulfilled and their support went right back to the crapper again to where we are today with them. It's a shame really.

While I'll bow to Toms superior knowledge of their performance and customer service they did have some of the best looking ram in the business (reaper). Just out of interest are their SSD's any better than their ram.

The last OCZ SSD OC3D reviewed did pretty badly, maybe they've improved now, or the drivers are better.

Also Mushkin make the best looking RAM in the world. White Ridgebacks anyone?

TTL could probably pull some strings, although I think he might have some gold ridgebacks in his personal rig.

Naaa I had white ram before the compo dude that was the original set! Ive got 3x4gb 2000mhz at 8-9-8-24 which for 4gb sticks is amazing - cherry picked much?
(they dont sell them at those timings they just sorted me out in a HUGE way )
