So you got given a sample card as a replacement for a dead one? That's naughty of the reseller and I'd take it up with them (unless you knew or it's a personal friend...).

No that's the card I was sent to replace my 465 Golden edition that caught fire. I had no idea it wad a sample card until the rma guy at msi informed me yesterday afternoon I was informed to take it up with reseller all I need is a replacement fan and to know that it has warranty

That's what I mean. The reseller replaced your retail 465 with a sample 470. That's really bad on their part, I'd talk to them and either request a free fan assembly or take it up with your trading standards.

You could always make a new fan for it? What size are the stock fans?

Any way you can gut a normal 80mm and mod it on?

i'm pondering running just a single fan for now the one over the gpu as the the rear fan is just over the stuff at the back

as I told steppy last night on steam at 54% fans are quiet than this morning loud as a helicopter at 70% it's tolerable

pay attention to the bottom left corner this little aluminum bracket that seems quite out of place, which I believe to be the culprit of my broken fan blade.
