There's a bug going around

This bug is known as "Watercooling Fever" to some. I recently posted my rig on here and commented on my desire to expand my loop and make other changes in general. Instead of re-typing all that, I will simply link it HERE.

On to what is coming: I have an XSPC EX360 rad coming in today (as I write this at 1am EST/6AM GMT) along with a Swiftech Helix fan. Tomorrow, I have an AX850 with white braided cables inbound. On Friday, my centerpiece, the Fractal Design Define S comes in. This will be my adventure into going full custom.

Thanks for tuning in, update inbound today/tomorrow (the 18th).

Welcome to the world of custom loops, this is only the beginning, it's life threatening this bug!

Look forward to seeing the build!

Just showing that I received the rad and fan. There will be updates on YouTube YouTubefrequently but I will only link it once. I am feeling lazy right now so I don't have any pictures for you. Keep in mind that this will all be shot on my OnePlus Two. I don't know why the video cut out during upload, but it did. I'm not entirely sure that I have enough black fittings but I have some straight chrome barbs that I can always put the black H220-X tubing over in a corner or something. I should be fine though

Pictures of the rad and fan tomorrow, though I don't know what exactly will be special about those. AX850 w/ white cables also comes tomorrow so there will be pictures of that, and I will be testing it to make sure it actually works. I don't particularly like the colors on the sticker and I want to cover it up with something neutral in color. I don't know what that might be. As for flushing the radiator, I was thinking one pass of boiled water and then one of my previously mixed distilled + Liquid Utopia (vigorously shaken on the DI water pass). Do you think that would be sufficient?

Updates to come!

Pics of the AX850 are here! Forgot to take photos of the rad and fan, but oh well. The PSU came with the stock, white braided, and black braided cables. I think I'm going to use the white ones on the 24-pin and PCI-E connections and use the black braided on the SATA and Molex and other cables. Might do 8-pin EPS as black, but white might look better. We shall see.

I'm going to try to get this all done on Saturday, which is ambitious considering this is the first time I am going full custom loop, but I think it's achievable. Onwards ad upwards!

Bad news... I flushed the EX360 rad and all was going well. I as about to install it when I noticed a few bent fins. I know bent fins are no issue, but it made me realize that I hadn't really inspected the rad and that's when I noticed this:

APGNqER

The picture doesn't seem to be loading so I'll link it here.

The rad seems to have some crushed fins. While this did not leak during my flushing, I don't want to use it. It is clearly not in proper shape, so I have sent it in the mail to be refunded. Which leaves me with a half-finished desktop just sitting there until my refund is issued and I can get a new radiator... *heaving sigh*

Sent the radiator back and purchased another one from Performance-PCs (along with some fittings that I'm going to need). I have ordered a lot of things from PPCS and the service has always been fantastic. They are also about a thirty to forty-five minute drive away so things usually get to my house fairly quickly.

I think I am going to pick up an NZXT HUE+ because holy b**ls does it look cool. I also want to get another 16GB of RAM. Not because I need it, but because I want to fill the DIMM slots on my motherboard. It would look nice :P

Thoughts, comments, and questions are all appreciated!

just as well you spotted the rad damage prior to using, worth the delay so not to ruin it all.

Oh, jeez. I know it's been a while. I have everything set up and installed and everything was running lovely until I encountered this: My tubing which was once very clear has turned this murky brown-ish green color. I'm fairly certain that it's not the fluid because in the res (which has remained clear) the liquid doesn't look the slightest bit tainted.

Here is a picture of right after I first built it:

Aaaaaand now:

Imgur linking seems to be broken so here is the link.

Now, from what I've read online, this could just be heat + lighting reaction, but I'd like to know your thoughts.
