Hi folks.

I desided it was time for a new case, so i orderd a unusal case, the Fractal Design Node 605.

Specs:
i7 3820
Asus Sabertooth x79
16gb patriot viper 3
256gb crucial m4
3tb WD red
Corsair AX750
Gainward Phantom 680 4gb
Fractal Define Node 605.

First run, starts as a dream :D

The case is a complete nightmare to work with, but god damn the case looks good, deffinitly worth the time and effort.

And the main reason i bought this case ^^
.
.
.

It fits perfect under my amp :D

you can find the old build here.

how are those eloop fans i've heared that they can be quite noise
in some orientations (push or pull ,face down or face up)

Sweet build bro and good cable management
i see that many hours have gon in to that :)

I love that case im thinking about getting one in the not to distant future, how is the cable management inside it?
Well, he has 2 680s (but he is going to sell one). He did not put in the other one because the cable management would get too bad for him.

The cablemanagement is horrible, but as expected, its a htpc kase, noe a gaming case with a enourmus window :p
Good case!
Yup, loving it, it looks super sexy, even copared to my orld define r3

Thanks for your kind words, and about the fans, i deffinitly see what people say there, they were freaking super silent in my define r3, but when i moved them to the new case they make a bit more sound, will deffinitly try out some noctua fans and see how the diffrence is.
That's one sexy case!

On the outside.
You made it nice and tidy though :)
Thanks ^^

Thats not all there is to it.
I've had the card out of my pc for a while, and there is a cuple reasons to this.
The main reason is 2 cards make more sound than one card, and since i got no trubbel with just one card, i dont see the reason why adding a card I basicly dont need. Allso I've ha a ton of problems with SLi
But, you are right, there is a problem with duall gpu, hdd's and cablemanagement.
I problaby could have done it, but i didnt care to take the time doing so.

So,

I found the feets on the Node 605 a bitt cheap looking, so i desided to replace them, HiFi style ^^

Right now i have a NAD C356BEE, a Cambride dacmagic 100, a set of Dali icon 6 MK2, a Dali icon sub MK2.
I allso have a apple tv just for the sake of airplay.

But i have manny plans, i own a Electrocompaniet AW250R with some defective parts, And in the meantime i will borrow a pair of NAD power amps when i colleague finds the cables for it.
I allso plan on upgrading to another sub, and to a dacmagic plus, i allso need to find a good tube pre amp to use with the AW250R.
I allso need to get a TV(yes i know, movies on a 24" screen 2-3 meters a way isnt that greate.
I allso plan on building podiums to my speakers, just to reduce vibrations, and allso to calibrate the room.

Totaly agree with you that the node should come with spikes by default btw ;)

WOW that's some awesome gear you got there:drool::drool::drool:
I myself am more a headphone guy but i'm trying to get a nice speaker setup going.

i got a schiit valhalla amp , a schiit bifrost and dac , a asus essence one dac
and all sort of expensive cableing.
now for the headphones: beyerdynamic t90, dt 880 and some akg's g701
and the list goes on (i have to many headphones but those are my favorites atm)

I'm just running a set of Sennheiser HD380 pro's from a iPhone 5. Planning on getting the HiFiman HE-400, sometimes in a not too distant future. Hopefully they will not be too hard to run for my iPhone, I just don't want the extra hassle of running a headphone amp on the go, and home i will use my stereo anyway.

ultimate camouflage
It really does look good, it's a shame to lett it sit on the ground tough.
And have you solved the problem with the eloops or did you go noctua :)
(i would like to no because i'm thinking about buying some eloops)

sort off, turned out it was the psu fan, not the eLoops, and turning the psu around made a huge diffrent.

Hello folks!

So i bough a p9x79-e ws, and a Phanteks ph-tc14cs, and som noctua thermal paste.
