Hey everyone, i was wondering... would my stock 400w x-tec PSU be able to run the following without too much drama or would i have to upgrade?

-Asus P5E

-OCZ Platinum 4 gb

-640gb Western Digital HDD

-MSI 9600gt (possibly 2)

-E7200

It would run it fine from my experience.

But maybe get a quality PSU so you don't have to go through the hassel of the X-tec killing everything.

The +12v rail is used to power the graphics card. Some cheap-ish PSU's have insufficient amps on the +12v rail to power a mid/high end graphics card.

More than likely, that PSU will have enough amps on the +12v rail. Good luck with your new system. :)
