VGA switch or HDMI switch depending on what kind of input you're using, or just use a monitor with multiple inputs and it'll auto-detect whatever one is in use.

Well, you could use their PSU. No real danger there. It should have all the protection it needs to keep it safe under any circumstances. Definitely don't use your PSU with their board, though!
