With Rapid Mode you are using the system memory...

With Rapid Mode you are using the system memory as a cache. Turn off Rapid mode in Samsung Magician then you'll get the real SSD results.

CCA is junk. There's a reason it's half the cost of normal copper cable. Those runs are short so it'd probably be fine, but I'd stay away from it. Use a solid copper cable.

Get a _good_ SSD, you'll never look back. As far as power loss protection just get a UPS. One that conditions the power to protect from brownouts as well as surges.
