The monitor is great, was perfect for what i wantes but if you are going to not used 3d id.go for a higher contrast monitor for less money but still would recomend asus. Im using a nvidia 560gtx ti 2gb and this handels the 3d fine. U need a nvidia gpu to use the steroscopic 3d. Idealy id like to run a 670 pos in sli if i had the money at the time
